Sorry for the delay, I've been visiting the family that I've been missing. This isn't the exciting part of the trip anyway.
I got a room, washed clothes, ate poutine, and arranged a ride to Vancouver.
I'm glad I asked around and figured out that it was easier and as cheap to fly out of Vancouver as it was to go to Seattle. Plus, it saved the hassle and cost of a bus ticket.
Customs was way easier than I expected. I thought they would have me dump my backpack and carry on, but instead, I checked my backpack first, then they just asked me a few simple but unexpected questions.
I caught a small nap on the first flight, then a small one at my layover, and another on the final leg. I got picked up at the airport by family. I haven't had a chance to miss the trail!
