Kids Helping Out with Lawn Mowing the Backyard

Описание: After 6 months of ignoring our backyard we've finally decided to clear it out.

We assembled the new Bosch Rotak 37-14 Ergo Electric Rotary Lawnmower https://amzn.to/2Wb0zbo (Amazon UK) to be used in cutting the tall grass and shrubs that has grown in our backyard. It is our first time in clearing out our own backyard and we did not have any experience in selecting which machine to buy to be able to properly cut very tall grass but I was able to read this guide https://www.flymo.com/uk/buying-guide...
and it helped me select the appropriate lawn mower to buy.

I've selected the Rotary type lawn mower from Bosch with wired electric motor. We did not select the smallest one (32 cm) cause we were thinking that the tall grass will need a bigger motor. The 37 cm model's motor was good enough and it did the job well without issue. It also came with a 40 liter grass collection box.
This box filled up pretty fast and we were emptying it every around 10 minutes of mowing.

Also we started cutting on the tallest cut setting of 7 cm. Then after clearing the tall grass we did another pass at the mid length cut setting.

The electric cable of the lawn mower which was 10 meters was short for our small backyard and we also need to buy an outdoor extension cord. The cord of the mower can be a bit annoying while mowing and it can slow your work down since you have to adjust the cord every now and then. Luckily an assistant was there to help with the cord handling :D.

We collected about 5 bags of grass from our small backyard lawn and all in all it was a nice bonding moment with the family and we had a clean cut lawn where we can do more activities this summer.
