This series of video tutorials will provide you with the basic skills, information and step-by-step instructions for how to use AutoCAD to create working drawings for a simple apartment suite over a detached double car garage. This playlist starts from scratch to finished CAD Drawing in 7 Hours walking you through all the steps to creating your working drawings along with some tips and tricks along the way to enhance your workflow! This tutorial will teach you the basics you need to get started using Autocad with no special plugins, or tools that don't already come installed with Autocad. By the end of this tutorial you will have the basics you need to tackle any drafting and design project to complete working drawings ready for issuing for tender, permit or construction! Create a set of working drawings for a detached garage with a suite above it (other names for this include Garage Suite, Accessory Dwelling Unit, ADU, Backyard Suite, etc).
