I bought my son his first car from Copart as a surprise birthday gift—with a twist. The idea was for us to roll up our sleeves and fix it together, giving him not just a car, but a hands-on experience he'd never forget.
After hours in the garage and a lot of grease and elbow work, we finally got it road-ready. Tom's been cruising around proudly ever since—until recently, when it suddenly broke down and lost power steering. Now it’s back in the workshop… again.
So here’s the big question: do I keep pouring time and effort into this project, or is it time to call it quits and send it off to the scrapyard?
