She's not big by modern standards, but the Santa Bettina is a very photogenic ship, and we catch her close up and from every angle as we chase her departing Botany Bay. Even her container array is colour-coded to the ship's colours! (Probably a coincidence) She meets the swell at the Bay heads just as the Mavic arrives and the head-on footage shows her cutting through it at close quarters. There is a sad story attached to the Santa Bettina. Back in May 2014 the ship's master committed suicide one week into a voyage from New York to Tilbury, UK, leaving its crew distraught and traumatised. It was his first trip in the ship and with the crew who found him.
