Seedance 2.0 Backing Down to Hollywood Lawsuits | The Damage is Still Done

Описание: Bytedance, the company behind the generative AI platform Seedance 2.0, is backing down to threats of lawsuits from Hollywood, but they achieved their goal.

AI content is becoming a big thing and Seedance really burst onto the scene not only with their demonstrated capabilities, but Hollywood inadvertently signaling the same with the lawsuits. It seemed obvious from the get-go that Bytedance knew they were in violation of copyright laws, but did so anyway because the publicity surrounding Hollywood’s response was the goal all along. That’s because it can be framed as them creating AI so realistic even Hollywood is scared. To a certain extent that’s true, but probably not in the way many think. With the improvement of AI effects, things are now available to the general public that were previously reserved for studios with huge budgets.
