Cookie Dough Waffles

INGREDIENTS:

FOR WAFFLE BATTER:
2 cups of flour
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of baking powder
1/2 cup of unsalted melted butter
1 and 1/4 cups of milk
1/8 cup of sugar
2 teaspoons of vanilla exctract

FOR COOKIE DOUGH:
1/4 cup of unsalted butter at room temperature
3/4 cup of flour
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/4 cup of milk
1/4 cup of light brown sugar
1/4 cup of white granulated sugar
1/2 cup of mini chocolate chips
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

INSTRUCTIONS.

1. Mix all the ingredients for the waffle batter in a big bowl and set aside.
2. For the cookie dough, cream the butter, white sugar and brown sugar together. Add vanilla and mix together. Add flour, chocolate chips and milk until everything is well combined.
3. Take a mini ice cream scooper or two spoons and drop small pieces of cookie dough into the batter. This will make your waffles have pieces of cookie dough through the batter and not be all just mixed together as one batter.
4. Heat and grease your waffle maker and make your waffles.
