The Global Cyber Alliance's Megan Stifel and Julian Hayda discuss some of the lessons learned from the 2016 elections and what, if anything, has been applied to the 2020 elections. They discuss the role of journalism and technology as sectors that have implemented new safeguards, while at the same time confidence in the news media and elections integrity has plummeted. Is it enough to have a robust technical solution to our elections and media problems, or do we need to work with other sectors to regain the public trust?
