Following "Shadowrun Returns" that came out earlier in 2013, I decided to pay my respect to this awesome franchise..
Here's a remix of the old SNES game I loved so much.. I didn't even know what cyberpunk was until I started playing this game back in 1993 :) The soundtrack by Marshall Parker was super dark and fitted perfectly with the game..
On my part, I mixed electronic with symphonic instruments, middle eastern voices and a big rythm section. It's a bit like a melting pot of different cutlures and influences, much like what you see in a cyberpunk universe..
Thanks to Marc-André Tremblay for the guitar at 2:30.. it's subtle but it really adds to the mix.
