Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Seva Teerth complex in New Delhi, which will now serve as the new address for the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS), and the Cabinet Secretariat.

The government described the new building as part of India’s modern administrative governance architecture, designed to be efficient, accessible, and citizen-centric. The complex carries the motto “Nagriko Devo Bhava,” meaning citizens are regarded akin to God.

The inauguration was held on February 13, a date marking 95 years since New Delhi was formally inaugurated as India’s modern capital on February 13, 1931.

Alongside Seva Teerth, the Prime Minister also inaugurated Kartavya Bhavan 1 and 2, which will house several key ministries including:

• Ministry of Finance
• Ministry of Defence
• Ministry of Health & Family Welfare
• Ministry of Corporate Affairs
• Ministry of Education
• Ministry of Culture
• Ministry of Law & Justice
• Ministry of Information & Broadcasting
• Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare
• Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers
• Ministry of Tribal Affairs

The relocation centralizes critical government institutions that were earlier operating from multiple locations, marking a significant step in administrative consolidation.
