Lake Taupo is WAY Better Than We Expected!🇳🇿 | $10,000 Golf Shot + Hidden Hot Springs

Описание: We finally made it to Lake Taupō in New Zealand and it turned out to be one of our favourite stops of the entire trip.

We checked out one of the most unique McDonald’s in the world – a real aeroplane you can eat inside, then we tried our luck at the famous $10,000 golf challenge where you have to hit a golf ball from the shore into a floating hole in the middle of Lake Taupō. Safe to say… it’s harder than it looks.

After that we jumped on a boat with some friends and headed out across the lake to see the incredible Māori rock carvings. With perfect weather and crystal clear water we spent the afternoon swimming, diving and even attempting a few backflips off the boat.

The next day we explored the power of Huka Falls before walking to a hidden geothermal hot spring where a natural hot waterfall flows straight into the river.

Lake Taupō completely surprised us and ended up being one of the most fun places we visited in New Zealand.
