This is for those who, for whatever reason, can't get to walk in the Yorkshire Dales. It is filmed as if the viewer is the walker.
We begin in the village of Conistone on the river Wharfe.
Our route takes us up Conistone Dib and then a climb up the fell to the ordinance survey point at Capplestonegate, for it's long distance views.
Then along the fell top towards Kettlewell. Before reaching Kettlewell we drop down into the valley and pick up the Dalesway to Conistone Pie and one of the best views in Wharfedale.
Returning to Conistone we finish in the church of St Mary, aspects of which date back before the Norman conquest. We locate the Mouse Man of Kilburn's famous signature carved on the church pews. On route home we call in at Kilnsey Trout Lake and watch the fishermen.
