Knots Landing: Season 9 (1987-88) cliffhanger (Double Trouble)

Описание: These are the final minutes to “The Perfect Crime”, the ninth season finale for the 1979-93 CBS drama “Knots Landing”, a spin-off of the popular 1978-91 drama “Dallas.” This was the 29th episode (219th overall) and final episode of the ninth season. This episode originally aired Thursday, May 12, 1988.

Realizing that Manny Vasquez (John Aprea) was using Lotus Point as a front for drugs, Abby (Donna Mills) & Gary Ewing (Ted Shackelford) manage to fill all the ships at Lotus Point's marina, thereby blocking Manny from unloading his next shipment. He calls Karen (Michelle Lee) and Mack Mackenzie (Kevin Dobson) and promises Michael and Paige's return home only if he is able to unload his shipment at Lotus Point. In Santa Tecla, Paige Matheson (Nicolette Sheridan), Michael Fairgate (Pat Petersen), & DEA agent Chava Rivas (Bernie White) board a bus headed for the States. The bus is stopped and they are led away by the police.

Back in the states, Jill Bennett (Teri Austin) had forced Val Gibson (Joan Van Ark) to swallow a bottle of sleeping pills to make it look like Val tried to commit suicide. While she left Val unconscious, Jill had returned to San Francisco where she pretends that she and the efficiency expert slept together the previous night. Meanwhile back in the Cul-de-Sac, Val has fallen onto the floor of her bedroom unconscious, reaching for a phone that has been unplugged from the wall.
