A birthday comes once a year, this year I decided to celebrate mine in Kaiserslautern watching a fallen giant of German football at home. Kaiserslautern is pure German football heritage, and a team/stadium that should be on every football fans bucket list.
The only Bundesliga club to become league champions in two different leagues after back to back promotions, and whose stadium is named after Fritz Walter, a club and country Icon of the German national side who captained his country to their first ever world cup and also won two domestic league titles with his club.
