Paths is Mikol's story on growing up in the foster care system and having to overcome the many obstacles it presented. The video was shot in Downtown Long Beach in the wake of the protests of George Floyd's death. We want to use the video as a tribute to George's life and the many of the other Black Lives whose paths we're cut short, due to violence in our marginalized communities. To us this isn't a Right of Left debate, its a Human Rights issue. The song is a sonic document of overcoming the struggles that life throws at you. Our goal is to encourage the people in this world to move forward, with unity, hope, love, & faith.
