We were swimming in Pendrell Sound and watch the partly snow-covered mountain peaks around us! The water here is the warmest in all BC. It's so warm that they can grow oysters here! Oysters need over 20 degrees Celcius to reproduce! The reason it so warm is that the top layer of the water, 10 - 15 feet do not go out at ebb and flood. Instead, it can be heated here in the fjord. We have 26 degrees, blue sky and quite still!
