Asparagus Rice Recipe:
Prep"
1 bunch of asparagus, tough ends removed, diced into 1/2" pieces, wash and drained
1/2 cup of red onions finely diced
2 large cloves of garlic finely diced
1/2 of a red bell pepper diced
Cooking:
in a large skillet on medium to high heat
1 tsp. of each butter and olive oil
add onions, asparagus, garlic and red bell pepper
stir in 2 tsp. of chili garlic sauce
add 1/2 oz. of water and cover for 2 - 3 minutes to soften vegetables
stir in 2 cups of cooked white rice, basmati works well ( Uncle Bens Bistro Express )
2 Tbs. of oyster or hoisin sauce
2 Tbs. of Soy sauce
juice of a half of lime stir well
cover on low - medium heat
serve when heated throughout
