Sky News host Chris Kenny details how the conflict between the US and Iran is entering its second week.
“We're now well into the second week of this war against Iran, Operation Epic Fury the Americans call it, an offence by the US and Israel to remove the odious threat of Iran's theocratic dictatorship that's killed Americans, Israelis and others in their thousands over 47 years, both directly and through proxy terrorist armies,” Mr Kenny said.
“Who knows? Trying to ascribe rational considerations to Iran are fraught; this is not a rational regime. Which is why the complete destruction of its military capabilities is the baseline outcome for the West. If the regime does not fall, if it doesn't surrender, and its people fail to overthrow it, then the US and Israel will ensure it no longer has the capacity to wreak the havoc it has over recent decades.”
