Описание: Lars Stenqvist, Executive Vice President, Volvo Group Trucks Technology and CTO, AB Volvo, recently visited India to meet with the engineers in Bangalore to follow the progress on research and development. Despite his busy schedule, he took little time to catch up with Mobility Outlook. During the interaction, he said, “We need several technologies – ICE, BEV and Fuel Cell, in parallel. It is a rather complicated chain of players that need to interact together to deliver what the planet needs. It will be hard to predict exactly what the share will be of each technology. It is much harder to predict the future than in the past.” He also said that the Fuel cell vehicles would be ready for commercialisation in the second half of this decade. The company is running a lot of tests right now.
