The Israeli military’s retaliation against Iran after a Hamas militant injured eight people in a terror attack has left the West Bank “very dangerous,” says former Labor MP Michael Danby.
“It’s Iran, Iran, Iran – Iran’s got three outposts on the Lebanon-Israel border that they’ve pushed over the border,” Mr Danby told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“It’s become very, very dangerous for the northern West Bank, it’s not a problem in the rest of the West Bank, but it’s a real danger of Iran ensconcing itself there, and that’s why there had to be such strong action against them.”
