This is a compilation of real-time videos of the incredible northern lights outbreak on 10/11 May 2024 near Mejls in South Denmark.
The auroral oval was already nearly overhead when I arrived at around 2115 UTC. Over the following hour, it moved ever further south until it erupted into a stunning curtain of red and green rays at 2209 UTC.
Subsequently, a corona formed, and from 2220 UTC much of the sky was covered by aurora in red, green, blue, purple, and pink. The corona and the all-sky northern lights display more or less persisted for the rest of the night until it was drowned out by dawn.
