Avalon TRI De LVMP spray gun .1.3 nozzle using the gun first time -(as per our unboxing video )

Описание: Test of the Avalon TRI De LVMP spray gun using 1.3 nozzle spraying a 2 pac Alfa Romeo factory code red onto a 1967 Alfa Romeo step nose GTV.
This was the first time we used the gun and the PPS fitting that was supplied(you need to buy the cups and liners) The PPS fitting works well..however remember that you need to ensure you twist and push these on to get a secure seal.
In this video you see the first coat (of 4 ) going on (we had some contamination issues that we 'painted our way out of).With a change in the amount of retardant and and misting the last two coats of paint on we managed to flatten out the overall finish as well as give ourselves enough margin to wet sand and buff the car. This resulted in a mirror finish which the owner is extremely happy with..much to our relief- this by the way is no reflection on the performance of the spray gun.
Gun was light, performed well, good quality, no issues getting air flow right ..pleasure to use this gun.
The PPS system really gives you a great deal of flexibility when painting on angles and getting up under difficult areas. The only downside is the plastic waste this generates and an increase in cost to your job. Lots of debate among the folk we spoke to and in the end it comes down to your personal preference...we like it as it keeps the paint off the floor and eliminates those oh CR%*& moments if paint leaks out the can when you are in awkward positions.
We will use it to paint the project car being restored on this channel
