Some other general tips
-Don't die. Selling your mech/vehicle is one of the most important sources of cbills when you're trying to upgrade to a better asset. Getting killed means missing out on several thousand c-bills that could have meant the difference between a standard medium mech and a premier heavy one.
-Don't be a coward. Remember that fighting is still the primary source of money in MWLL, so you will need to eventually start shooting at enemies if you want to get money quickly. You need to be careful when you're fighting with a light mech or a weak hovercraft, but you still need to be willing to commit to engagements whenever possible.
-Develop situational awareness. This is the balance point between points 1 and 2, where you need to learn when to fight and when to flee. Understanding which engagements you can win and which ones you can't is key to staying alive while still accumulating money.
-Understand the battle flow. This is especially important on terrain control maps, where fights will usually center near bases. Knowing where enemies will likely move on each map is quite helpful when determining where you want to move especially when you're in a weak asset. If you've never played a map before and don't really know anything about it, you'll probably want to stay near other players whenever you're moving toward a potential combat area.
