The name of this district, which has developed and grown over the years, is known as Merter. It is textile heaven. It is one of the cheapest districts of Istanbul with wholesalers, affordable sales and house prices. There are also sports and course centers in the district. Transportation opportunities are very wide and it is a well-known district for being in a central location. However, it is not enough for a cinema, theater and cultural activities yet. Important transportation vehicles such as Metrobus and Metro pass through here. The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality annex building is also here.
