The structure of the rover prototype is entirely 3D printed and the design is completely original and inspired by the Curiosity rover.
The robot uses an Arduino board to control all the motors, servomotors, sensors and communication devices. Another Arduino board is incorporated into a custom double-layered PCB that serves as a RC transmitter with all the necessary joysticks and switches to operate the robot. The rover incorporates a foldable robotic arm that can be used to grab small objects and a sensor to collect environmental data.
This project was created several years prior to the OpenRover project (look for Perseverance Rover Replica video in my YT channel), and could be seen as a first version of it.
