I really don’t want kids to use Roblox. It has a horrible, exploitative history.

But if they do, things changed this week in the USA and it’s now going global. Parents, you need to know!

On Monday, Roblox completely changed its parental controls. You might remember they were called out in October in a scathing report about the racist, sexualized, and violent content that Hindenburg Research found.

So, this week, they changed everything. Bottom line - if you had a parent pin on your child’s account, it was turned off on Monday. If your child is 13+ now you can’t lock anything in.
