How to Estimate Path Models and use Bootstrapping to Test Mediation in R (Part 1)

Описание: These videos introduce the basics of estimating path models and testing mediation (i.e., indirect effects) in R (specifically, using the Lavaan package). Part 1 focuses on estimating a simple mediation model and using bootstrapping to construct a confidence interval for the indirect effect; basics of maximum likelihood estimation, likelihood ratio tests, and model identification are also described. Part 2 focuses on effect decomposition, different types of mediation with multiple mediators, and nested model testing (i.e., chi-square difference test).
