Cervical side flexion manipulation is probably the most technically difficult manipulation to perform in the cervical spine. We never use this technique as a start technique during a manipulation session (I refer to other films on this topic).
This is also used to reduce an indicated internal derangement. Keep in mind to respect at all times the indications and contra indications. I refer to the specific strategy as described in the ETGOM course on modern orthopaedic medicine Cyriax.
