Removing 4th gear seal - Harley 4 speed trans

Описание: I couldn't find a video showing fourth gear seal removal with the MANY videos that show removing the mainshaft seal. So I made one.

Want to see the mainshaft seal removed before the greybeard tells you what a pain in the butt fourth gear seal is and why he's NOT going to show it even though everyone requests it? Kudos on them for showing WELL how to remove the mainshaft seal (which I glance right over)

CORRECTION: Ray let me know I mistakenly said there are four different spacers when there are actually FIVE. If you have an 1982 or older transmission the spacer for the chain or belt final drive is DIFFERENT and he needs to know that when you order.

Notes from Ray: Thanks for the video,by the way I am not a grey beard ,still young at least at heart...I am machinist instructor in a college :),been doing this spacer with o-ring on my own transmission forever :) ,doing the 2 small seal trick also when I rebuild the complete tranny,

You should have use or mention my instructions to install the spacer ,with grease inside,and deburring the outside of the gear to clear the thread and the sharp edge of the spline,I never use the cork behind the seal give you more play to install the main seal ,and if you push the main seal too much against the cork give you trouble with the sprocket and spacer turning it together,Ray
