I forged this hot cut tool out of rebar using very simple tools. I could have make the cut off tool as a simple chisel, but this will force me to sacrifice a hand. Having it in a stump will allow me to hold the hammer in one hand and tongs or the metal in the other, making the process easier to work with (similar to how hardy tools work).
