Adidas and Puma are the Global brands in the Sports Industry which are made out of family arguments between the two brothers. Adolf Dassler and Rudolf Dassler started making shoes in their mother's laundry room and used to sell shoes to local sports competitions and sports clubs in Herzoganaurch, Germany. The name of the company at that time was Gabruder Dassler Schufabrik. Adolf had experienced that there were no specialized shoes for specific sports and then they started making shoes with metal spikes and high-quality leather for the track field. And they got huge success in the 1936 German Olympics organized by Hilter's Nazi Government.
After the Second World War, the dispute between the two brothers started growing and ended in the separation of the family and their shoe company. Adolf made Adidas and Rudolf made Puma and the rest is history. The unique marketing moves by these brands are covered in the video.
