Potato waffle 🧇 ✨
Ingredients:
1 box dehydrated hashbrowns or 3-4 shredded raw russet potatoes
1 egg
1/2 - 1 teaspoon salt
Bagel seasoning of your choice
1/4 - 1/2 cup milk or milk alternative
1/2 cup flour with 1/2 tsp baking powder or 1/2 cup baking/pancake mix (mine was gluten-free)
1/2 - 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese (can be omitted)
Mix egg, seasonings, milk, and flour mix together until combined.
Add in potatoes and cheese and combine.
Place an appropriate amount of potato batter into the waffle maker of your choice. Be sure the waffle will flatten and spread easily.
Cook for roughly 7 minutes.
Take it out of the waffle iron and enjoy!
(Again, they make a great base for breakfast sandwiches and freeze and reheat well.)
