Megan was just 16 when she was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma, a cancer that develops in the lymphatic system. At such a young age, she didn't know anyone else who had been through cancer. She felt alone, and upset that her life had to be put on hold. That’s when Megan turned to her Macmillan nurse, Julie.
Julie was there every step of the way. When she started to lose her hair, Julie put Megan in contact with a wig specialist. Macmillan helped Megan with psychological support, and now, Megan feels back to her old self.
