Jordan, Japan FMs hold more strategic dialogue

Описание: (19 Aug 2021) The Japanese foreign minister met with his Jordanian counterpart during a visit to Amman on Thursday, discussing cooperation between the two countries and regional developments.
These talks are the second round of strategic dialogue launched between Jordan and Japan in 2018.  
Japan's Toshimitsu Motegi and Ayman Safadi tackled various areas of cooperation including education, security and trade exchange, according to a statement by Jordan's Foreign Ministry.
The two ministers also discussed the Palestinian issue and developments in Afghanistan.
They stressed the need to maintain security and stability in Afghanistan, respect human rights and ensure the safe evacuation of foreign nationals who wish to leave, the statement added.  
The two ministers have agreed to hold a third round of strategic dialogue in Japan next year.
