This is no ordinary Dax. Fully restored in 2014 by a meticulous professional mechanic, this 1979 Honda ST70 underwent a complete nut-and-bolt rebuild to a standard that arguably exceeds how it left the factory. Since then, it’s been kept indoors as a display piece, only occasionally run to keep everything as it should be.

The restoration began with a clean, complete original and was rebuilt from the ground up, including a full engine overhaul. The result is a show-quality machine that looks every bit as good as it sounds. It comes with a photographic restoration file of 150+ images, original owner’s manual, receipts, and two keys.

These little Daxes have become cult classics for good reason — usable, analogue, charming, and reliably climbing in value year after year. This is less about pace and more about smiles per mile.

Real-world charm is what this bike does best. Expect 35mph, maybe 40 with a kind breeze and a brave stance — it’s not about speed, it’s about smiles. It was never built for dual carriageways or rushing in modern traffic, and that’s not its purpose. This is about relaxed rides, not high-speed heroics.
