In this Somali language course - Lesson 01, you will learn the Somali alphabet, Somali vowels, how to make Somali sounds with vowels, Somali numbers from 0-19, and your first basic Somali conversation.

The Somali language has 21 consonants and 5 vowels, although there are more than 5 vowel sounds because in Somali, there are "Shaqal gaab" and "Shaqal dheer" (short and long vowels) that are used with all the Somali alphabets to create meaningful words.

I will teach you how to correctly pronounce all the letters, vowels, numbers, and your first Somali conversation so that you can feel more confident the next time you talk to a Somali person.
