Описание: Former TDB president N. Vasu was granted statutory bail in the Sabarimala gold theft case after the SIT failed to file charges within 90 days of his arrest. Meanwhile, the ED has summoned former TDB secretary S. Jayasree and alleged intermediary Kalpesh in connection with gold plating forgery case. Actor Jayaram was also called for questioning over suspected links to the prime accused Potti on Tuesday. The probe, registered under the PMLA, included allegations of forgery, misappropriation of temple gold and suspected money laundering.
