Hey guys! Today we’re watching Jerri Heil again and her performance of “CHATARCTICUS” on the Vidbir stage. I really hoped until the very last moment that this would be the act representing Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, but sadly it didn’t do as well as I expected. Jerri had a bit of trouble live, but I’m not sure whether the issue was with the vocals themselves or if the mixing caused the problem. I also noticed that some parts of the staging weren’t fully showcased during the performance. She was involved in some drama as well, which I believe made it harder for Ukrainians to truly connect with her or the song overall. For me, not knowing every aspect and all of the behind-the-scenes details, I believe this was the best performance of the night and personally, this was my winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.
