According to the Meteorological Department, this weather pattern—featuring rain and thunderstorms—will continue across various parts of North India for the next five days. Rainfall is expected to persist in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Rajasthan. Meanwhile, the monsoon is gradually advancing beyond Bihar and Jharkhand; it is likely to reach Uttar Pradesh between June 20 and June 22.

The Meteorological Department forecasts rain accompanied by thunderstorms in Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, and Chandigarh from June 13 to June 17. Thunderstorms, lightning strikes, and strong winds are predicted for Purvanchal on June 13, and for Western Uttar Pradesh from June 14 to June 17. As for Rajasthan, thunderstorms and winds reaching speeds of 70 km/h are expected on June 13. A warning for dust storms has also been issued for both Eastern and Western Rajasthan today.
