BUTTER CAKE
160 gms Butter (room temp)
160 gms Castor/ Powdered Sugar
160 gms Maida/ All purpose flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
3 Eggs (room Temp)
3 Tbsp milk
1 Tsp Vanilla Essence
Method:
Sieve the flour & baking powder and keep aside.
Beat together the butter and sugar until well combined and pale in color.
Add the 3 eggs. One at a time beating in between.
Then add the Vanilla Essence
Add the flour mix in 3 batches with little milk in between. Scraping the bowl in between. Beat till well combined. Do not over beat.
Prepare the 2 cake tins (7" x 2" or any cake pan of ur choice), grease with oil and put a parchment paper. Pour the cake batter into the cake tin and bake in pre-heated oven @ 180`C for 25 to 30 minutes or till cake done.
If using aluminum foil tin bake at 160`C for 25 to 30 mins.
