THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS
welcome back, in this video :
I came in with big goals and high expectations, but things didn’t go exactly how I planned.
I started with the 1600m, ran 4:15, and finished 3rd… but ended up getting disqualified after the race. That was tough to process.
With one race left — the 3200m — I did my best to reset and focus. I finished 2nd in 9:29 with a 57 last lap. It was a solid effort, but overall, I left the meet feeling a little disappointed.
This video takes you through the whole experience — from pre-race routines to race day, post-race thoughts, and everything in between. A lot of ups and downs, but definitely a weekend I’ll learn from.
