Welcome to the final chapter of the Joan of Arc campaign, "A Perfect Martyr." The title refers to the tragic execution of Joan of Arc by the English. Though the French lost their Maid, they gained a powerful symbol of defiance.

In this mission, set 20 years after Joan's death, the French, led by her former comrade Gilles de Rais, are determined to drive the English out of France forever. This is a classic "build and destroy" mission with a unique twist: you must carry the French Flag to a specific location (Castillon) to claim victory and conclude the Hundred Years' War.

⚔️ What You Will Witness in this Epic Finale:
This scenario is known for its brutal difficulty spike, requiring precise execution and strategic prioritization from the beginning:
The Ultimate Boom: We begin with a small but powerful Imperial Age army and a crucial group of Villagers. The first objective is to take the nearby Burgundian (Purple) town to establish a secure base and jumpstart a massive economy.
Immediate Threat Assessment: Success hinges on dealing with two major immediate threats: the Burgundians who constantly attack with Champions and the aggressive minor English faction of Shrewsbury (Orange) in the north, which possesses strong cavalry.
The British Onslaught: The main English army (Red) holds the far north, but they are often triggered into a massive, immediate assault as soon as the Burgundian Town Center is destroyed. You'll see us prepare for and survive this massive wave of Longbowmen and siege weapons.
The Flag Run: The final objective is to deliver the French Flag (the Trade Cart) to the designated victory location—the battlefield of Castillon—in the northeastern corner of the map. This requires clearing a path through the enemy heartland and defending the slow-moving cart until it reaches its final destination.
