Описание: My Frustrations :'( this series had initially so much potential but due to lack of contingency plans & too focus on the actors playing the roles than the QUALITY of the overall story.. sad to say that the series fall short of my expectation... Initiallly the series had a great plot..(old Philippine Hacienda plot w/ the Senyor & Senyoras and the Obreros, the poor sugercane workers.. a plot that truly exist in our country years back or maybe until now). Even the one sided love of Mona to Samuel was OKAY because it tackles the other side of love. Not all love story has a great start nor it will have a happy ending. The BIG problem of the series was... the story was TOO FOCUS only to two people (the 2 big stars playing the lead characters) & how they want televiewers to believe how lighted butt insects will create lovelife!!! the series tend to forget the other characters and other more promising stories surrounding on the other characters. A good series do not only depend on the lead actors but should also consider the quality of the story as a whole... what made Ikaw Lamang a FAILURE is that the series did not consider the other factors that should have been considered... Another reason why it failed is because the story is so PREDICTABLE and become too pushy for viewers to accept the tandem of the lead actors than just letting the story NATURALLY FLOW.
