Описание: In this video I install all of the electrical boxes in the kitchen. I'm using adjustable depth boxes to account for the possibility of installing a tile backsplash in the future, but I'm not keen on how the mounting strap sticks proud of the studs and thus will create a very slight bump in the drywall. To address this, I use an electric planer to create a pocket to recess the mounting straps. Yes this is almost certainly overkill, but it's minimal effort and makes me feel better.
