Lagwagon drum cover of Noble End (album Duh)
I do not own any rights, except the right to hit my drumset.
I am passionate about drumming. I play jazz, funk and would like to simply be able to talk with my drums, as I hear it in my mind.
Derrick Plourde (the original drummer) is like the Bruce Wills of Punk rock. Changed the 90´s, was a bit irreverent, and mostly inspired what came afterward.
I tried to play this tune since I was 17. I played it with my bands but I always felt it was not the real thing.
I feel this is my best take on it, because of the exception and energy. However, my goal is only to do a tribute to this awesome musician and I hope you will listen to what he has done. I don’t want to sound like him, but want to learn from him and share how much he was an innovative musician.
