THIRTEEN partnered with the Apollo Theater, Independent Lens, Firelight Media, and PBS to present a screening of “The Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution,” followed by a panel discussion and performance on February 7, 2016 as part of their Open House Weekend. The discussion was moderated by MetroFocus’ Rafael Pi Roman, joined by director Stanley Nelson, members of the Black Panther Party Kathleen Cleaver, Ericka Huggins and David Lemieux, and journalist Jamilah Lemieux (EBONY).
