Sexual freedom parade in Jantar Mantar, Delhi

Описание: A Delhi-based organization called 'Indians for Sexual Liberties' organizing a parade under the epitaph 'Sexual freedom' at Jantar Mantar, Delhi on 14th April, 2012. The organization describes itself as a common ground for "people who sell sex, contact or BDSM (bondage, discipline, submission, masochism) services. They are also campaigning in support of the nationwide decriminalization of homosexuality and against censorship of art and cinema.

The NGO initially claimed that close to 500 sex workers, strippers, erotic dancers, phone sex workers, webcam models, glamour models and professionals associated with the porn industry, including those running websites and brothels, have confirmed their participation. But as you can see, much to the embarrassment of the organization, only a few people turned up for the campaign. Moreover, the purpose and objective of this 'Sexual freedom' parade is a bit one of a triviality in nature as it covers vast subject including legalization of prostitution, lift ban on sex toys, pornography and homosexuality.

The founder and national coordinator of Indians for Sexual Liberties, Laxman Singh says their motto is to set off debate and spread knowledge regarding sexual freedom among Indian masses. He added "We want the government to acknowledge the gravity of this issue and initiate legal reforms like legalization of prostitution and pornography as well as removal of ban on sex toys in India. When the very sexual act is permissible, why not it's various manifestations and depiction?".
