GP Replicas VS Minichamps! II - Its Awful! 1994 Ferrari 412 T1 - Which is better? Jean Alesi 1/18

Описание: Ita truly awful. We buy models to bring back fond emotions & memories of past moments in Formula 1. When we look at a model we want to be reminded and feel these emotions. The model has to look as close to realistic as possible else its unrelatable if its just too inaccurate in design & proportion. Sadly I see GP REPLICAS have not improved depsite being the most expensive manufacturer for models in the market!

A lot of people online & on Youtube do reviews of GP Replicas models as they get sent them for free thus produce positive reviews and unobjective reviews ignoring the inaccuracies of the models.

I have for comparison the early season version from Minichamps built in 1995.

The Minichamps diecast model is 30 years old and better than the GP REPLICAS model.

The GP REPLICAS is a Resin model released in December 2024!






GP REPLICAS model has awful proportions:

1. Bathtub sized cockpit

2. 6year old child size driver figure with M&M sized helmet that is wrong shape and not correct on each side in shape

3. Large chassis fasteners 1/12 scale appropriate

4. Carbon fibre weave pattern too large more suitable for 1/12

5. 2nd barge board is too low and is in line with the ground not the bottom of the floor

6. Side pods too thick around cockpit

7. Goodyear Tyre Sidewall labelling too large & wrong font

8. BBS wheel pattern is very wrong

9. €250/290 retail price for a car with shocking errors
