"Thirty Minutes With..." is an extension of the ministry of PA Women of Chaplaincy and Pastoral Care. Normally, new videos will be uploaded every 2 weeks, primarily highlighting women who are chaplains or serving in some capacity of pastoral care or ministry. Yet, there will be some exceptions!
This episode features, Barbara Karnes, RN. Ms. Karnes is is a registered nurse and author, who may be known by many for her book, "Gone From My Sight", also known as "the hospice blue book." You can also learn about other publications written by Barbara, such as "The Eleventh Hour", "My Friend I Care", and more, through her website bkbooks.com. In our post-interview conversation, she also clarified that these publications are not just for professionals working in hospice or other areas of healthcare - but for anyone who would want to increase their knowledge on end of life care or grief.
