The original "Mormon Message" that this is inspired from: • Testimony of the Book of Mormon
There was a recent "Mormon Message" very similar to this, showing excerpts from Elder Holland's powerful conference talk, "Safety for the Soul." But the talk was so powerful, I wanted to show more of it. I thought the "Mormon Message" video was too short and missed some key parts. So I re-edited the talk, added some visual clips, and added some new music. I showed this to my Seminary students as part of Lesson 5 (Overview of Book of Mormon).
Seminary is a program for Mormon youth (high school students). We meet at the church for an hour at 6:30am before they go to school. I'm lucky enough to be their teacher this year. This year we're studying the Book of Mormon, but other years it's New Testament, Old Testament, etc.
